If you are renting your residence from someone else, they may be liable if you are injured on their property. Unfortunately, many landlords are not vigilant about maintaining safe premises for their tenants. Many renters experience delapidated stairways, dark stairwells, broken appliances, slippery walkways, and other dangerous conditions. These types of conditions can be especially hazardous to the elderly, the disabled, and young children.

If you feel that you have been injured because a dangerous condition was allowed or created by your landlord, you should contact a personal injury attorney for an evaluation of your landlord's liability.
