Speeding + Collisions = Arrested

A Des Moines man speeding and driving erratically was arrested after a high-speed chase last Friday during which he collided with two other vehicles.

The driver was initially pursued after exiting I-5 and heading east toward Auburn. Just as the pursuit was called off the driver ran a red light, struck a van and then a second vehicle before rolling his Jeep in a parking lot. Two bystanders "detained" him until the police arrived.
