Driver With Suspended License Crashes; Boy Injured

A woman driving with a suspended license lost control of her car on I-90 Tuesday. An 8 year old passenger was hurt.

Reportedly the driver had been arrested three times before this accident for driving with a suspended license. The accident occurred in Issaquah when the vehicle "hydroplaned" on the wet highway. The car spun and hit a concrete barrier. Her passenger's son was injured by his seatbelt.

An interesting question is whether the driver is liable for the boy's injuries simply because she was driving with suspended license--even if she was not driving negligently.
