Services were held for thirty-two year old Paul Dana, the race car driver who died in a car accident during warm ups for a season-opening race at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday.
The Tacoma News Tribune reported that,

Most of his fellow IndyCar drivers turned out for the service next to the track where Sunday's Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will be run, including Ed Carpenter, who came away from last week's accident with a bruised lung.

Driving a car is dangerous, even for the most experienced and professional drivers operating on a closed track. Car accidents are a way of life in America. Fortunately, most people are concerned about the safety of others when they are on the road.

If you have been in an accident caused by the negligence of another driver, you should contact a personal injury attorney to discuss your rights.
